9岁登台人民大会堂独奏；13岁与北京交响乐团合作，担任门德尔松《小提琴协奏曲》独奏。16岁在中国开创一场音乐会演奏两部小提琴协奏曲的先河，成功演绎了勃拉姆斯和门德尔松两部协奏曲。

演出足迹遍布世界四大洲，50多个国家及城市，如：中国国家大剧院、美国卡内基音乐厅、美国纽约联合国总部会议大厅、俄罗斯圣彼得堡音乐厅、西班牙马德里皇家歌剧院、美国波士顿交响乐大厅等。曾应英国皇室邀请在温莎城堡进行一系列的演出和讲学。曾在指挥大师祖宾·梅塔的带领下在西班牙皇宫演出。中国、美国、俄罗斯、乌克兰及英国媒体均对劳黎进行过报道。《中国日报》《中国青年报》《国家大剧院杂志》等多家官方媒体对劳黎进行人物专访。劳黎曾多次作为特邀嘉宾录制中央广播电视总台春节特别节目和大型文艺晚会节目。

作为独奏家，曾与众多国内外著名乐团合作。如：捷克国家交响乐团、波士顿爱乐乐团、俄罗斯别尔哥罗德交响乐团、中国交响乐联合乐团、上海爱乐乐团等。合作过的著名指挥家有：祖宾·梅塔、水蓝、本杰明·詹德、普拉斯多·多明戈、马克西姆·文格洛夫、郑小瑛、陈燮阳、卞祖善、张国勇、盛宗亮、陈琳等。

Lao Li is an internationally acclaimed young violinist and a passionate ambassador for bringing Chinese compositions to the world stage. He serves on the faculty of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and previously taught at the prestigious Reina Sofía School of Music in Spain.

A child prodigy, he made his solo debut at the Great Hall of the People at the age of nine and, just four years later, performed Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with the Beijing Symphony Orchestra. At sixteen, he broke new ground in China by performing two full violin concertos—Brahms and Mendelssohn—in a single concert, an achievement that drew wide attention.

His artistry has since carried him across four continents and more than fifty countries, gracing the world’s most revered stages: the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing, Carnegie Hall in New York, the United Nations Headquarters, the St. Petersburg Philharmonia, Madrid’s Teatro Real, and Boston Symphony Hall, among many others. He has performed at Windsor Castle at the invitation of the British royal family and appeared at the Spanish Royal Palace under the baton of legendary conductor Zubin Mehta. His work has been profiled by major outlets in China, the United States, Russia, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom, with in-depth features in China Daily, China Youth Daily, and the National Centre for the Performing Arts Magazine. He has also been a frequent guest on national broadcasts, including CCTV’s Spring Festival galas and cultural programs.

Lao Li’s playing has been described by American violin pedagogue Donald Weilerstein as “delicate and deeply moving, full of imagination, radiating the warmth of sunlight.” As a soloist, he has collaborated with leading orchestras such as the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Philharmonic, the Belgorod Symphony Orchestra of Russia, the China Symphony Orchestra Alliance, and the Shanghai Philharmonic. He has appeared with distinguished conductors including Zubin Mehta, Shui Lan, Benjamin Zander, Plácido Domingo, Maxim Vengerov, Zheng Xiaoying, Chen Xieyang, Bian Zushan, Zhang Guoyong, Bright Sheng, and Chen Lin.
