Internationally renowned young violinist Isabella Li Lao’s latest album Sound From East To West (HQCDII) has been officially released. The album features masterpieces by composers such as Zhao Jiping, Bao Yuankai, and Robert Schumann—all works that Isabella Li Lao has performed at Carnegie Hall. The recording was made using two rare and legendary violins: a Stradivarius and a Guarneri del Gesù. Grammy Award–winning recording engineer Vacek personally oversaw the production. Presented in high-definition HQCDII format, the album offers listeners an immersive concert hall–like experience.

In 2017, violinist Lao Li premiered the violin and orchestra version of Impressions of Chinese Music “Guessing Tune” in the United States. The work takes a humorous and playful Yunnan children’s song as its theme, presenting the rich and colorful musical culture of the Chinese nation through Western orchestral interpretation.
